ROKKATEI Tasting Event at WAZA和技 SHOP in JAPAN HOUSE LOS ANGELES

From May 10 to 18, 2025, we hosted “Catch the Taste of HOKKAIDO,” a complimentary tasting event at WAZA和技 SHOP in JAPAN HOUSE LOS ANGELES.

In anticipation of our first US location opening this summer at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, we offered a preview of Rokkatei’s signature confections and baked goods from Hokkaido. Guests were invited to sample and purchase beloved treats like the Marusei Butter Cookie Sandwich and White Chocolate Strawberries, along with a selection of classic baked sweets. Our floral-themed pop-up booth created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that attracted many excited visitors throughout the week.

Event Highlights

Our friendly staff donned our signature floral aprons and greeted guests with warm, welcoming smiles. Sample plates allowed visitors to see our delicious offerings up close, while a curated selection of Rokkatei's lovely stationery was also available—including notebooks and decorative masking tapes—adding a special touch. For longtime fans and new guests alike, the experience was both engaging and memorable.

A First Step Toward Our U.S. Launch

This event marked an important milestone for us as we had this wonderful opportunity to introduce Rokkatei to our future US customers. Many guests discovered the story behind our sweets while enjoying tastings and left with gifts and treats to share. A selection of Rokkatei products will continue to be available at WAZA和技 SHOP in JAPAN HOUSE LOS ANGELES through July 20.
